This is Nerine Bowdenii taken on 30th September this year. It is planted in a slightly sheltered, warm, well drained border against a white wall and seems to just get better every year. Like all plants, you have to find a situation which they like and if you do, they will perform amazingly well. As I have discovered over the years occasionally I have thought that a plant would do well in a particular situation but, it disagreed with my choice of situation and failed.
