Garden plant name quiz - Answers

So how did you do?    I have chosen some of the more common names used in latin plant names.   Blame Carl Linnaeus 1701 - 1778 a Swedish botanist, zoologist, and physician who formalised binomial nomenclature for animals, plants etc.  Think of Tyrannosaurus Rex which means Tyrrant Lizard King.    Most people know a little binomial nomenclature even if they think they don't.     Hope you found the Quiz fun and not too challenging.    We are heading rapidly towards the end of the year and as I said on my welcome page this website may not last beyond the end of this year having had no feedback - event or Club updates etc - so time will tell????
